Who We Are

Priority Electric was started in 1986 by brothers Paul Prior and Michael Prior who both maintain an active role in the day to day operations of the business to this day. Paul and Michael come from a long line of successful entrepreneurs,

To date, Priority Electric has been built mostly by word-of-mouth referral. Both Paul and Michael’s expertise in their field continues to be highly sought after because of their commitment to quality service for all their customers both large and small.

Today, Priority Electric employs 10 full time electricians who have all been with us over 12 years. In addition, we have a dedicated office support staff. We participate in the State of Connecticut Apprenticeship program sponsoring, teaching, and training to bring new electricians into the field. During our busy seasons, we also bring on additional staff to assist both in the field and in the office.

Paul’s specialty is designing and planning out large scale commercial projects and designing landscape lighting options.

Michael’s specialty is repairing pool equipment, installing and repairing pool automation systems, installing and repairing automatic pool covers, and specialty machine wiring.
